PTA Meeting Minutes April 8th, 2024

Attendees: Tara Lister, Heidi James, Micheal Strate, Tracy Beck, Carem, Mi Shell,  Brooke Favero.

  • Paid and gave students a ticket worked out really well.

  • The week's activities were awesome. Cat in the Hat day, Oh the places you’ll go Day, Wacky Wednesday Day, Fox in socks day, If I ran the Zoo Day

Book Fair April 29th - May 3rd BOGO

Set up book fair Friday April 26th at 3:15

Brooke will send out volunteer sign up link

Take down Friday May 3rd

Field Day May 22nd 8:45-11am

Heidi will send out volunteer sign up home and google form April 27th ish

Petting Zoo scheduled

Need to schedule fire truck for 1pm-1:15pm

Need to find a new bounce house company

Field day stations bounce houses, scooters, rockets, cup relay, obstacle course, potato sack races, petting zoo with corn hole and horse shoes for another option for kids who can’t be around the animals.

Teacher/staff appreciation

Tuesday May 7th dessert bar (Heidi) will go get prices and get possibly cheesecakes or bites, cookies, or cream puffs

Wednesday May 8th luncheon (Erika) will cater a light mexican lunch.

Budget is $250
