The School LAND Trust Program, established by the Legislature in 1999, distributes a portion of the earnings from the permanent State School Fund through school districts and charter schools for all public schools in the state.

Elected parents and educators, along with the school principal, serve on the School Community Council.  The council is made up of school employees who are elected by employees and parents who are elected by parents of student attending the school.  Membership terms are for two years.  Elections for North Park Community Council are held at the end of each school year.

Parent input is important in the decisions made by the council and we invite all parents to attend Community Council meetings or share input with Community Council members in order to become involved. Your help is needed and your children will be directly influenced by your input about how School Trust Land Funds are spent here at North Park Elementary.
