Here are the steps to get started:

Have your parent or guardian help you fill out the form.

Find a Story

Choose a folk tale, family tale, personal tale, a story from a book, or an original story. Stay away from telling a joke in story form or narrating a video game plot. The story should be appropriate for school.

Reminder

We don’t memorize a story word for word; we tell a story. 

Guideline

Stories should be between 3-5 minutes. 

Who can participate:

3rd through 6th graders

Introduction Meeting

-Friday, November 8th in North Park's Library

 

Battle of the Storytellers at North Park Elementary

-Wednesday, December 4th at 12:45 PM

Only the top 3 students will advance, but all storyteller videos will be shared at the school.
