Community Council Meeting Notes – May 2, 2016

In Attendance:  Riko Reese, Jenn Kasteler, Dave Tanner

Excused:  Trina Favero, Tina Wright

Meeting Began @:  3:30PM   

Minutes read and approved:  No

Discussed:

  • Dwindling number of members.
  • Community Council should be community driven ie:  parents, interested community members.
  • Principal should be a member and a few teachers.
  • Chairperson should create agenda and conduct meetings.
  • If parents are uninterested, how do we create a council?  How do we include parents/community and get them interested?
  • Chairperson for Community Council needed – Anyone interested should contact North Park Elementary at (801) 452-4340.
  • Agreed that Mr. Reese, Mrs. Kasteler, and Mr. Tanner will continue to be council members for the 2016-2017 school year.
